Nelson conducted a workshop at 3:00 pm titled - Creating a Church Preparedness Plan. Nelson Roth shared the story of his church’s amazing recovery after the Hurricane Katrina disaster and discussed lessons in preparedness for all churches.

Sunday, October 18, 2009 - Dedication of Nehemiah Response at Gulfhaven

The book, Nehemiah Response, how to make it through your crisis, tells Gulfhaven's story of recovery from Hurricane Katrina. The book was dedicated during the Worship Service on October 18. Our prayer is that God's purposes for the book will be fulfilled. On this day, copies of the book were available to purchase.

Saturday, October 3, 2009 - Annual Pine Lake Fellowship Camp Sale

The Pine Lake Fellowship Camp is in Meridian, MS with a mission of “Renewing the spirit, soul, and body through Christian camping." The sale was 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Saturday, October 3, at the St. Gertrude’s Community Center in Des Allemands, LA. For this special one-day event, Relevant Ministry gave the proceeds for each Nehemiah Response book sold to the camp's ministry.
